Its in these alleyways that he comes down to sit with his demons,
Its where the gods and demons interact on the same plane.

The Ghats of varanasi are an extremely vivid experience,
Bodies burning on one end, the Ganga arti on the other,
Theres a baba chanting the gayatri mantra and theres a dog taking a piss on a shivlingam, theres boat men hustling and theres the sunset.

They say the fire on the Ghats has been constantly lit for over 3500 years which is incredible when you think of it.
